We had a wonderful Summer concert…

We welcome everybody, whatever their singing background, to experience the joy of communal singing. Our choir has a varied repertoire, there’s no audition and you don’t need to read music.

We have 2 taster sessions each term where you can get to know the choir, our repertoire and the pleasure of singing.

The London Phoenix Choir is an independent, not-for profit organisation formed in 2022 from the ashes of English National Opera’s Community Choir. We are based in Marylebone, near Baker Street station, and we meet on Thursday evenings from 7-9pm. We welcome new members at the start of term. We are an inclusive and welcoming group and we generally have concerts at the end of each term. In the  photo below  we’re rehearsing for our annual Christmas concert at St Giles Cripplegate, and the second photo is from our performance with other choirs of the Habanera from Carmen at the Brandenburg Choral Festival in March 2025.

Another benefit of being a choir member is we are often invited to dress rehearsals and workshops by the English National Opera. In the past we’ve had tickets for La Boheme, The Turn of the Screw, Akhenaten, Rigoletto, The Elixir of Love & the Pirates of Penzance.
